This Week on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE: All Hail the Robin King!

What happens in Gotham City after “The Joker War”? Who is the Robin King? What’s causing the latest conflict between Wonder Woman and Artemis? These are great questions, and what’s even greater is that all of the answers can be found in this week’s new offerings on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE—we’ve got full details, plus the latest highlights from the DC Community!

DC Digital First Comics

Truth & Justice continues with the third and final chapter of the Vixen story by Geoffrey Thorne and ChrisCross, with Vixen looking to wrest control of her body back from Yemaya! A new story arc starts in Sensational Wonder Woman #3 (written by DC editorial’s own Andrea Shea and illustrated by current Nightwing artist Bruno Redondo) as Wonder Woman shows up to rescue Artermis on Warworld, but, as tends to happen with those two, they end up in combat. Then in Challenge of the Super Sons #7 by Peter Tomasi and Max Raynor, Robin and Superboy must save their friend Rora from Vandal Savage—who, as an immortal, has had a very long time to get good at this supervillain thing.

Truth & Justice #3 – 4/28/2021

Challenge of the Super Sons #7 – 5/3/2021

New Comics

Now that each of the Batman issues of “The Joker War” are fully available on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE, find out what happens in the immediate aftermath starting with Batman #101 by James Tynion IV and Guillem March, which sees the arrival of WildC.A.T.S. regular Grifter arriving in Gotham City, now working for Lucius Fox. (Why? Read and find out!) The Dark Nights: Death Metal one-shots continue with Dark Nights: Death Metal Robin King #1 by Peter Tomasi, Tony Patrick, Riley Rossmo and Daniel Sampere, detailing the origin of the tiniest, most sadistic member of the Darkest Knight’s army.  And in Nightwing #75 by Dan Jurgens, Travis Moore and Ronan Cliquet, Dick Grayson has finally regained his memory, which only motivates the KGBeast to finish the job he started and take Nightwing out for good.

This week’s back catalogue additions to DC UNIVERSE INFINITE include 1968’s Batman #208, which asks a rather substantial question: “Who is the most important woman in Batman’s life?”

Breach (2005-2006) #4
