DC is bringing Jace Fox and I Am Batman to New York slightly ahead of schedule, courtesy of a wild posting announcing the upcoming release of I Am Batman #6, written by award-winning screenwriter John Ridley (12 Years A Slave, American Crime, Let It Fall), with art by Ken Lashley and Rex Lokus. The image, with art by Taurin Clarke (Icon & Rocket: Season One) features Jace in costume with his face revealed, against the backdrop of the iconic New York skyline. It measures a whopping six feet tall by eight feet wide, perfect for fans to take their picture with Jace and welcome him to his new home.

The campaign runs now through Wednesday, February 16. I Am Batman #6 arrives in comic book stores throughout North America and on participating digital platforms Tuesday, February 8. Check the map below for locations of the postings in the city (blue), and nearby comic book stores (orange):

Just in time for Black History Month, this posting is not only a celebration of DC’s first Batman of color, but the return of Batman to New York in an ongoing series. I Am Batman marks the first time that the Big Apple will be Batman’s home base in an ongoing Batman series since 1941.

Fans can get to know more about Jace Fox and read about his path to the cape and cowl on the DC UNIVERSE INFINITE digital subscription service. A curated list of series are currently available,  from Jace’s first appearance as Tim Fox in 1979 (Batman #313), to the limited series The Next Batman: Second Son, and Future State: The Next Batman. In addition, all issues of I Am Batman will be available on the service, including issue #6, timed to its arrival in comic book stores on February 8. Later this month, the service will include a Talent Spotlight on Ridley, featuring a selection of other titles including the groundbreaking The Other History of the DC Universe #1 (free to read with registration), The American Way, Superman: Red and Blue, and more.
